Welcome to Foggy Mountain Dog Coats, a small, family-run company based in Frederick, Maryland.

For over 35 years, we’ve been designing and producing dog coats built to last. Our journey began with a simple frustration—there weren’t any coats that truly stayed in place on active dogs. Drawing inspiration from traditional horse blankets, we developed a design that offers both security and comfort, even for the most energetic pups.

Over the years, we’ve refined our fit, expanded our styles, and sourced high-quality materials, including distinctive plaids—some imported from Italy. In addition to our standard cuts, we’ve created a specialized line to accommodate unique body shapes, from Dachshunds to French Bulldogs and beyond.

Foggy Mountain has always been a wholesale-focused brand, partnering with retailers around the world. Our coats have been carried in shops across Japan, Italy, Canada, and even at Harrods in the UK. We’re committed to making what we believe is the best dog coat on the market.
